Managing Partner Xinwei Zhao of HiHonor law firm being invited by Qingdao Maritime Court of PRC (QMC), as lawyer representative along with delegates from other firms in Shandong Province, attended the Lawyer/Legal Service Provider Symposium of Qingdao Maritime Court Whole-Process-Online-Case-Handling System on 31 July 2020.

QMC court was the pioneer court in whole Shandong Province that first launched the Whole-Process smart Online Case-handling System since 16 March 2020 following outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, making use of intelligent trial platform, with good hope of trying cases on the Internet to the maximum extent.

The lawyer delegates shared comments and feedback of their use of the online trial system. "No matter during or after the pandemic, PRC court will rely on the internet technology to perform court duties in a safe, convenient, fair, efficient and professional manner" quoted from vice President Li of the court.
